Beam Therapeutics, Inc. is sponsoring this study to gain a better understanding of the experience of sickle cell patients and caregivers related to their post-transformative therapy experience. Beam’s desire is to identify the types of support, resources, and education the SCD community needs as well as allow publication of the data to inform the medical literature. Any US-based SCD Warrior (who has not participated in BEAM-101), aged 18 or older as well as their parent/legal guardian may participate who can read, write and speak English are welcome to participate (participants 12-17 who wish to participate with their parent/legal guardian will be asked to complete an assent form). The first portion of the research involves participation in an approximately 30-minute survey about the demographics of the SCD Warrior. Participants will then be asked to provide dates/times that work best for you to participate in an approximately 60-minute telephone interview.  Qualified participants will be paid a $200 upon completion of the interview.  The link to participate will be shared when the study is “live.”
