In 2018, Engage Health created the Rare Disease Difference Maker® project to recognize the researchers, physicians, organization leaders, patients, parents, teachers, and friends who work tirelessly in the rare disease space, often without acknowledgement.

Since then, the program has recognized 41 individuals whose work has significantly impacted rare disease patients.

This poster highlights two of these individuals with hopes to inspire others regarding the many ways, beyond therapy development, individuals can work to impact the rare disease community at large
